Our apartment community in San Mateo, California, is close to Highways 101 and 92, and just a mile from the Cal Train station at the Hillsdale Shopping Center. We're just a 30 minute drive from downtown San Francisco and 15 minutes from San Francisco International Airport or connect from the Cal Train to the BART to head into the city.
Scotchollow: Nearby Recreation and Shopping
There are over 25 parks in San Mateo, near Laurie Meadows and Redwood City, where you can bike, hike and picnic. Right down the street is Laurie Meadows Park, a great place to walk your dog. There are also many golf courses nearby.
Spend an afternoon of shopping at the nearby Hillsdale Shopping Center. Head to downtown San Mateo and experience its quaint shops and cafes. Or, hop on the train to San Franciscoand stroll along Pier 39, see a 49ers football game, or visit Chinatown or Fisherman's Wharf. Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive into Half Moon Bay where you can enjoy surfing, sunning or just relaxing on the breathtaking beaches.
